Pay Range: For candidates working in person or remotely in Connecticut. The pay range for this specific position is $23.05-$38.42. Compensation is discussed with BCForward upon a job offer.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
Responsible for developing and maintaining new contacts and/or partnerships in the community.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Leads and manages strategies within a specific territory or business initiative.
- Acts as liaison with community advocacy groups that impacts target population.

Identifies, develops and builds relationships with community organizations, provider offices, and faith based organizations; performs activities to enhance presence in the community.
- Assists members and potential members with benefit and/or enrollments inquiries.
- Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members and communicate issues to management.
- Tracks all marketing and sales activities and maintains sales database.
- Conducts marketing presentations to increase effectiveness in establishing rapport, assessing individual needs, and communicating product/benefit features and differences.
- Contact for the Navigators & Assistors to meet with and support (emails & phone calls)– Like the Consumers for Affordable Health Care.

Partner with the individual Medicare field reps to educate & promote (we have already outreached to the Medicare reps).

Engage in events and co-sponsored activities with providers and hospital systems

Meet with local Anthem leadership team on updates, status, needs strategy.

Would want on ground within 1 month of knowing when states would need to start redeterminations.

Partner with accountants, financial advisors, banks and credit union to make information available for their customers,
Requirements:
-
Requires a high school diploma; 2 years of experience in healthcare or sales/marketing environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

AD or BA/BS preferred. Knowledge about provider network that supports the delivery area, knowledge of plan and/or competitors value added benefits preferred.
- Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with valid motor vehicle insurance required.
- State health insurance licensure preferred.

Attend exchange dept enrollment fairs and community events – events occur on a regular basis and will continue to increase as we go through redeterminations. Currently, we sporadically staff these events due to lack of community resources.

Engage with FQHC’s, meet with their members, hold events co-sponsored by FQ’s to drive enrollment

Engage in communities – New Haven, Bridgeport, Hartford, etc…

Partner with accountants, financial advisors, banks and credit union to make information available for their customers
