LUDWIG Business Consultants is a cutting-edge accounting firm that specializes in outsourced accounting and business solutions. We are seeking a Full-time Accountant to join our growing firm who can take charge and hit the ground running.
Responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports. The ideal candidate also has experience collaborating as a team and will report to the Senior Director of Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls for clients.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Prepare month end and year end close process.
- Produce error free accounting reports and present their results.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of experience as an accountant for a small to mid-size company.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Hands on experience with QuickBooks
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude
- Tax return preparation a plus
- Willingness to travel to client offices in and around the Philadelphia region
- Proven ability to portray the LUDWIG culture of EXCELLENCE while working independently.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
