Primary Job Summary
Capture the value SM Tire builds into its products and services. Working with current customers on additional sales and loyalty, and making cold calls to and emphasize on fleet sales in order to help SM Tire grow and be profitable.
Essential Job Duties
1. Practice safe work habits at all times, and abide by industry, company, state and federal guidelines
2. Promote SM Tire commercial and retail products and services in a manner to maximize relationships and company profits.
3. Complete tire knowledge to include tread designs, tire applications, tire wear conditions, tire maintenance practices, wheel and rim configurations, out of service tire analysis, knowledge of the complete retread process and tire service techniques.
4. Select and develop target customers to include regular cold calls
5. Communicate daily with management staff on all current and potential sales and service opportunities
6. Perform fleet inspections at customer yards to gather information to present the customer and or service department.
7. Complete all documentation essential to the sales process
8. Drive safely and maintain vehicle inside and out to promote SM Tire in a positive manner
Job Related Experience
Selling experience and/or tire installation experience of at least 3 to 5 years experience
Education
High school diploma and at least 3 years of experience and/or training
Other Requirements
Acceptable California DMV report and valid CA drivers license
Bilingual preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
