Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians in patient examinations and procedures.
- Providing compassionate care and support to patients undergoing breast health screenings and treatments.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Conducting outreach and networking efforts to enhance community awareness and patient engagement.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Coordinating follow-up care and appointments.
- Scheduling appointments for new and existing patients.
- Intermittently assist with patient check-in, check-out, and other tasks to aid patient flow.
- Maintaining medical supply stock, which may consist of ordering, stocking, and/or discarding expired items.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
Qualifications:
- Certified or registered Medical Assistant.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in women's health or oncology.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Proficiency in medical software and basic computer skills.
