Objective: As an inpatient hospice nurse (RN) for Vitas, you'll be responsible for providing compassionate care to terminally ill patients in a hospice setting. Your duties include assessing patients' needs, administering medications, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and offering emotional support to patients and their families during a challenging time. Your role is crucial in ensuring comfort and dignity for patients in their final days.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assessing and managing patients' symptoms
- Coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Providing emotional support to patients and families.
- Documenting patient care accurately.
- Ensuring patients' comfort and dignity throughout their end-of-life journey.

3 12's, 7p-7a (nights)
Differential pay for weekday nights and weekend nights
Required Education/Skills/Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
- RN Degree
- 2 Years of RN Experience Required
- Experience in a hospice setting is preferred, but will provide training if needed.
