Summary: The Maintenance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all maintenance and facilities operations within a startup plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to personnel supervision, equipment repair, modification, installation, and facility maintenance. The Maintenance Manager will focus on training employees, developing and managing preventative maintenance programs, mentoring technicians, and ensuring departmental and operational safety and regulatory compliance.

Maintenance Planning and Coordination:
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance planning, scheduling, and work execution for the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain records and history of equipment for efficient tracking and management.
- Oversee the installation, operation, relocation, and maintenance of all production equipment.
Inventory Management:
- Manage spare parts and materials inventory to ensure availability when needed.
- Implement effective strategies for preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Efficiency and Cost Improvement:
- Initiate and conduct projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing operating costs.
- Track, analyze, and enhance key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, and downtime.
Environmental and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety compliance standards, promoting a culture of safety within the Maintenance Department.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in facilities/plant engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of overhead cranes is a plus.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with integrated drives with PLC control.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC Logix systems is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in maintenance and facilities management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
