POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. This position will work closely with Receiving, Picking and Shipping departments to achieve division objectives while maintaining a focus on customer service and inventory accuracy. This individual contributes to a positive team atmosphere and applies safety guidelines in a fair and consistent manner.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience in warehouse/distribution inventory accuracy.
3. Must have a good attention to detail and good time management skills
4. Must have experience warehousing finished goods and raw materials.
5. Must have proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
6. Must demonstrate a “hands on” problem solving approach.
7. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
9. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
JOB DUTIES:
1. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
2. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
3. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
4. Transport materials to production areas
5. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
6. Responsible for inventory accuracy and control within the distribution facility including stock rotation (FIFO).
7. Inspect machinery and determine the need for repair.
8. Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.
9. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
10. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
11. Keep the warehouse clean and adhere to the 5’S Housekeeping Standards
12. Comply with company policies and guidelines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 25% of the time.
2. Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk 75% of the time.
3. Must be able to move within the office and plant to reach file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
4. Must be able to use dexterity to handle small safety equipment and/or hazardous material.
5. Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds and frequently move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
6. Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and also in both written and verbal forms.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
1. Generally works in a manufacturing environment but is also required to perform job duties in a typical office setting.
2. This position regularly requires large amounts of time to be spent using manufacturing equipment, which generally entails regular and repetitive motions along with exposure to loud noises. All safety procedures should be adhered to in these situations.
3. This position also requires some amount of time to be spent using computer equipment, which entails regular and repetitive motions.
4. Will regularly be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals. All safety procedures should be adhered to in each of these situations.
5. Subject to working near moving parts of heavy machinery and high voltage equipment where use of appropriate safety equipment is required.
6. Work includes indoor and outdoor environment during possible adverse weather conditions.
