The Packaging Tech maintains and completes daily projects assigned by the Packaging Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms.
- Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department related rooms. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area.
- Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors, etc.).
- Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas.
- Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
- Follows through with cleaning and organizing SOPs after use of equipment or supplies.
- Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.
- Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
- Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Reports any improper action of compliance regulations.
- Follows instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
- Reports data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
- Must be able to communicate with CODES team effectively and professionally.
- Must be able to perform under high pressure situations.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
- Must be able to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
- Must be able to work in low light situations.
- May be subject to lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, and visual activity.
- May be exposed to limited hazardous chemicals.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
