How this position fits at Scrapbook.com: Full-time, M-F, In-House
As the Associate Buyer, you will work on-site, full time, at our headquarters in Gilbert, Arizona. The mission of the Scrapbook.com Associate Buyer is to execute all procurement activities for their assigned brands through building relationships with internal and external partners.
Core Priorities are as follows:
- Will manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned brands and establish strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our Suppliers.
- Will strategically create and manage product assortments through sales analysis, trend research, and brand partnership.
- Will procure all product details and images and create SKUs in the inventory management system and the website, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Will negotiate costs with suppliers to achieve the target margin for each brand and/or promotion
- Will forecast and create new product purchase orders for assigned brands within their allocated budget ensuring SKU productivity
- Will collaborate with the Replenishment Buyer on core products and key promotional items to minimize the out-of-stock rate on high-visibility items
- Will strategically plan, source, and negotiate promotional products and first-to-market opportunities
- Will actively manage the business in both forward planning and in-season execution through the use of e-commerce reporting tools, optimizing inventory turn and profitability through pricing and clearance
- Will report on sales and product performance for assigned brands, internally and externally
- Will merchandise all product pages for assigned brands with 100% accurate information, images, related products and videos.
- Will take on other responsibilities as assigned.

You Meet the Following Requirements:
- 3-5 years of buying experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Purchasing Management, Marketing, or Retail Management preferred.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience analyzing data and forecasting purchase quantities.
- Strong analytical, planning and time management skills.
- Proactive communication with suppliers and relationship building skills.
- Resourceful and creative problem solving skills.
- Passion and experience negotiating promotional products.
- Awareness and curiosity about the paper crafting industry and trends.
