North Shore Animal League America is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world. We are a non-profit organization and since 1944, the League's mission has been saving the lives of pets through adoption, rescue and advocacy initiatives. Every year, the League reaches across the country to rescue, nurture and adopt nearly 18,000 pets into happy and loving homes. Over the years, the League has placed more than 1.1 million puppies, kittens, cats and dogs into carefully screened homes.
We are seeking a full time Digital Marketing Coordinator with gaming and Twitch experience to be part of the Development Digital Marketing/Fundraising team and coordinates the growth of the Peer-to-Peer and Streaming programs, assisting with the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy to advance revenue growth in our livestream and peer-to-peer fundraising programs. The Digital Marketing Coordinator also works with the Digital team on other critical Digital Marketing/Fundraising priorities for the Organization.
We are only looking for candidates that have gaming, streaming and Twitch experience, we are not seeking Marketing Coordinators that do not possess these skills.
This position is annual no summer only employment. You will be required to work on site at our Port Washington, NY location. This position is not remote.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serve as the Peer-to-Peer and Streaming subject matter expert for the Organization and incorporate best practices to drive fundraising results.
· Recruit and cultivate a community of streamers, influencers, and content creators to fundraise for North Shore Animal League America.
· Develop and execute ideas for digital P2P campaigns, and ensure Organization is getting the most out of P2P fundraising platforms.
· Collaborate with internal teams to create fundraising campaigns around the livestreaming gaming and P2P communities.
· Communicate regularly with the livestreaming and gaming fundraisers through appropriate channels, e.g., email and social media.
· Manage the Organization’s daily social media activity specifically related to livestreaming and gaming and other emerging live streaming platforms (Twitch, Discord, and YouTube).
· Track and report on fundraising results across the P2P and livestreaming channels.
· Answer support questions from fundraisers and online supporters.
· Assist with other digital fundraising and marketing priorities for the department, including but not limited to email set up, SEO, and promotion of adoptable animals across digital channels.
· Stay informed of new and emerging technologies and platforms.
Requirements:
· 3-5 years relevant experience –fundraising, streaming, community engagement.
· Experience with community fundraising and social media platforms – such as Twitch, Tiltify, YouTube, Discord, Facebook, TikTok, & more.
· Ability to work cross-functionally with a diverse range of partners and peers and ability to manage deadline pressure.
· Ability to handle multiple projects with high attention to detail.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills – especially presentation skills.
· Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple complex tasks.
· Excellent digital analytical and reporting skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
· Familiarity with using CMS systems (WordPress preferred) and files produced in Adobe Creative suite a plus.
· Familiarity with HTML a plus.
· A passion for North Shore Animal League America’s mission and brand.
