Job Description:
The Applied Social and Cultural Sciences Department which houses the Criminology and Criminal Justice Bachelor of Arts at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio is seeking adjunct professors to be added to our pool to teach courses in the fall and spring semesters.
The successful candidate will have past college-level experience teaching online or face to face. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of modalities including face-to-face, interactive video, and online formats. Develop and coordinate experiential learning opportunities for students, facilitating their engagement with real-world applications of Criminology and Criminal Justice concepts. Courses cover a wide range of topics within the field of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Job Requirements:
An MA or PhD in Criminology or Criminal Justice or Juris Doctorate.
A strong commitment to student-centered education and a track record of effective teaching at the university level.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
