Job Summary:

We are a community service-based organization that provides a variety of services including childcare services to enhance the lives of children and families. Securing the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development childcare subsidy contract enables the organization to minimize the financial burdens of rising childcare costs for residents of Hudson County.
Duties:
- Review client application for accuracy
- Entering data into internal and external databases (CARES) with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
· Calculate client income/child support/family size
· Create spreadsheet and log for processing
· Retrieving data from internal and external databases.
· Determine eligibility, mail welcome and/denial documentation
- Creating child care agreements; writing and sending prelims and final agreements.
- Maintain both electronic and non-electronic files.
- Attending training and professional development as needed.
- Providing quality customer services to clients and providers.
- Coordinating, preparing, and distributing appropriate communications to parents and providers.
- Maintaining, securing, and safeguarding confidential information.
- Providing other related duties as requested, assigned, or directed.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in the childcare subsidy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and DFD regulations
- Ability to accurately review client applications for completeness
- Ability to provide clients with technical assistance and resources

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.27 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
