We are look for experienced and enthusiastic Front of House (FOH) Team Members to be part of our growing and vibrant team at South Fork. The Front of House Team Member supports the regular operation of the Front of House (FOH) including taking orders, making coffee and tea, pouring and mixing beverages, and providing friendly and helpful service to every guest in a high volume indoor and outdoor dinning. FOH Team Members represents South Fork and therefore is responsible for working in a professional manner and will seek to promote our mission and values.
The Deets (what you'll be expected to do in the job)
- Provide every guest with exceptional service, promoting a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects South Fork’s brand. Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Take food & beverage orders from the guests; enter orders accurately into POS system.
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons in an expedited manner.
- Operate espresso machine and grinder, to produce high-quality beverages.
- Possess an understanding of our food & beverage menu items to assist guests with menu choices, answer questions about ingredients, and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Bussing tables, washing glassware, emptying garbage, and opening/closing duties.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, (Holidays, as needed)
- Previous experience as a server, barista, or bartender, preferred.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Possesses a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
- Knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks, specialty cocktails, wine, and beer
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment following food safety guidelines
- Excellent verbal communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.

- Hourly rate: $16.30 /hr + tip pool
