Position Details: The Instructor will assist the Program Director at the Delray Beach campus, Florida campus with activities within the Nursing department to deliver to students program curricula; recommending the purchasing of supplies and equipment; performance assessment; developing community contacts and assist with the advisory board meetings; teaching program courses as needed according to specified learning outcomes; academic advising and career related counseling for students; monitoring student retention and identifying and assist at-risk students; effective teaching strategies and assessment methods; and providing support for program and institutional initiatives. This position plays a key role of the quality and compliance of education. The Instructor is also responsible for preparing students to pass the NCLEX-RN exam.
Requirements:
A Minimum of Master's degree in nursing in Nursing.
Minimum 3 years nursing experience and an unrestricted RN or ARNP license in the state of FL.
Prior teaching experience at the RN level or higher preferred.
Must be familiar with the Florida Board of Nursing as the school is an accredited institution, and recognized by the Board of Nursing for its Nursing program. ABHES and ACEN accreditation experience is helpful along with knowledge of ATI.

Three professional references are required and candidate must possess a current and non-restricted FL Nursing license.
Required Educational Background and Experience:
- MSN degree in nursing
- Registered nurse with current and active FL license or able to get one
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mental Health required.
- Medical Surgical Experience Preferred.
