The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Inside Sales Manager to accelerate the transition of fleets to zero-emission vehicles. As part of our sales team, you will collaborate with our executive team to identify and cultivate new customer leads while managing a team of professionals.
InCharge aims to expand our customer base in the dealership, MUSH, and midmarket segments. We offer an integrated solution that includes EV charging hardware, design and installation, maintenance and repair, InControl software, Charging as a Service (CAAS), and solar and battery storage.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the Inside Sales team, focusing on sales training, productivity management, and achieving sales targets.
- Provide a consistent on-site presence to assist, train, and develop our growing team.
- Coach and develop team members on sales communications through call monitoring, one-on-one training, and manager feedback.
- Ensure jobs are booked properly and with the highest level of detail available.
- Guide the team to focus on a mix of warm leads and new outbound lead generation.
- Coordinate with the Sales Enablement team to develop tools that support sales objectives and facilitate reporting to OEMs and executives.
- Provide input to the executive team, product development, marketing, and program managers to ensure the development of cutting-edge, sellable products and channel strategies.
- Lead the sales team by example through ongoing use of Salesforce, maintaining high-quality data reporting, and tracking key metrics.
Your Experience and Capabilities
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 2-4 years' experience in managing an inside sales team
- Outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to present to our client's senior management teams, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
- Experience working across multiple departments within an organization to develop superior customer solutions: sales, marketing, engineering, products, and operations
- Detail-oriented, good follow-through, able to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment to meet client and internal deadlines
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
