Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with special needs, including those with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions and conduct group sessions as needed.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of treatment strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress, session notes, and other required paperwork.
Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in the field of special education or behavioral therapy.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
