Job Overview:
GH Logistics is actively searching for a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker Sales Rep to join our dynamic team focused on building our asset-based supply chain.
We are on a strategic expansion path and need a tenacious individual who can help us leverage our current accounts and seize new business opportunities across the United States. (We provide you an assistant from day 1 to assist your endeavor)
With a current fleet of 103 units and growing, this role is ideal for someone looking to make a tangible impact in our freight brokerage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand and Manage Carrier Accounts: Develop and oversee assigned carrier accounts, aiming for increased efficiency and profitability.
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with carriers and shippers to become their preferred freight partner.
- Identify Business Opportunities: Utilize (exclusive to GH) freight auction boards to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Strategic Negotiations: Conduct strategic negotiations to ensure profitable yet fair rate agreements.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer and carrier issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Revenue Management: Actively manage accounts to ensure ongoing revenue generation and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Experience within the transportation or freight brokerage industry.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Multitasking Ability: Proven track record of effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS).
- Self-Motivated: Self-motivated and autonomous with a robust entrepreneurial spirit.
