2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am ($25/hour + $3/hour shift differential)
Overall Responsibility
- Fabrication welders are needed in the welding of sheet metal. GMAW in mostly Galvanneal with some welding of aluminum and stainless steel (experience is helpful but not required).
- Set-up equipment to MIG weld mild steel, stainless and aluminum metals.
- Interpret/understand weld symbols on print and have good attention to detail.
Key Job Duties
- Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, square, etc.
- Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and print specifications.
- Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
- Follow company policy and standards.
- Keep work centers clean and orderly.
- Able to take and follow directives.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years MIG welding experience.
Desired Qualities and Attributes
- Ability to work and function as a team.
- Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
- Is safety minded and puts safety first while preforming job duties and functions.
