Thomas Solutions Incorporated is seeking for a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to provide operational and management support to the National Institute of Justice’s (NIJ) stakeholders and customers nationwide. The position is in Alexandria, Virginia.
Position: NIJ Task Order Program Manager
Job Summary
Leads the coordination and management of all work done under the task order. Plans, directs, and monitors the work of team members. Identifies and assigns staff for projects while managing project issues and roadblocks. Executes tasks and disseminates relevant information. Responsible for all aspects of performance, including tracking budgets, schedule, deliverables, and contractual compliance. Provides direction on projects from inception through completion. Provides technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer. Serves as the government’s primary point of contact for all support provided to the project.
Requirements: To be successful in this role you must meet the following:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university.
Experience Level:
- Five (5) - Ten (10) years of direct relevant supervisory or management experience
- High-level technical, and time-critical needs in the marketing, media, and public information service areas.
- Requires experience in managing projects with specific results and deadlines.
- Must demonstrate superior oral and writing skills as well as outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Task:
- Meet regularly with the contracting officer’s representative (COR) and attend other ad hoc and regularly scheduled NIJ meetings at intervals and locations as designated by the COR and task monitor.
- Review reports and budgets to discuss new capabilities.
- Provide periodic status reports and summaries in the format directed by the NIJ COR.
- Provide summary of data, graphical analysis, and information that provides temporal context for newly presented information.
- Communicate with the OJP contracting officer (CO), COR, and bureau/office staff.
- Coordinate, as necessary, with other NIJ vendors and other program-related organizations such as the OJP Office of the Chief Information Officer; and grantees that conduct communications work, training, and technical assistance.
