CDW is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and a positive experience for our patients. We are looking for a friendly and organized Bilingual Dental Scheduler to join our team and be an integral part of our patient care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment book, schedule patient appointments, handle rescheduling and cancellations, and ensure efficient use of the dentist’s time.
- Patient Communication: Contact patients to confirm appointments, remind them of upcoming visits, and follow up on missed appointments.
- Coordination: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal scheduling.
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Customer Service: Address patient inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach and the ability to handle patient concerns with care.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dental practice management software and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Problem-solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse patient base.
- Experience: Previous experience as a scheduler, preferably in a dental or medical setting, is an advantage but not required.
- Team Player: Cooperative and willing to assist colleagues to ensure the best patient care.
