The Lead Hostess/Cashier greets the guests, finds a suitable table for the number of guests, acts as a cashier, and maintains reservations. Handles training of Hostess/Cashiers.Greets and seats guests in a gracious manner and distributes business among Food Servers equally and fairly as possible.

Greets and seats guests.

Assigns tables to food servers.

Assist bussers or other restaurant teams members when necessary.

Operate and manage the POS system, including all monetary/ credit transaction comps for Emilia’s Café.

Keeps hostess area stocked, clean, and presentable, and takes inventory when requested.

Cleans and inspects condition of all menus daily.

Does daily calculating of receipts.

Responsible for the proper training of new Hostess/Cashiers.

Provides and maintains DeSimone Gaming’s high standards for superior guest service.

Promotes good team members relations by conducting themselves in a professional manner and being supportive as a team player.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Also, assists with bussing tables and beverage service when necessary to ensure seamless service.

May deal with customer complaints or price disputes.

Reconciles cash register drawer at the end of working shift; ensures all proper procedures are being followed.

Reviews price sheets to note price changes of items in establishment.

Notifies manager on duty of any guest's concerns or complaints.

Performs all other job-related duties as requested.
