POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, termination and unemployment. This position requires a person who is self-motivated and has a strong work ethic.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; and writes and places advertisements.

Conducts on-boarding for all new hires including E verify.
- Handles employee termination processing including exit interviewing.

Processes all verification's of employment except for DOT.

Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.

Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Monitors unemployment for all states. All hearings to be discussed with Director.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Stays current on all HR trends with regard to job functions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-
At least 3-5 years generalist experience preferred
-
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Experience with Paycom is a plus
-
Experience with DISA is a plus
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills required

Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships; excellent customer service skills required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office
