Harvest Table Culinary Group at High Point University is seeking a energetic and forward thinking Hospitality Services Director to lead our team! This leadership position is directly responsible for leading and managing our new Panther Commons high volume and multi-location dining service operation.
The Director ensures our client partners, guest service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management that both meets and exceeds stated expectations. They are responsible for retail resturants, quality improvement and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities for the Director of Hospitality Services will be:
- In operations during key times. Managing food quality and service. Working side by side with team in modeling service excellence.
- In times of great demand, assisting in preparing meals, stocking food/supplies, and cleaning is required.
- Walking from location to location to check on operational excellence.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of new marketing, sustainability, and culinary concepts for all retail locations.
- Partner and collaborate with support team on financial and people excellence. Utilize company systems for completion of required daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll/time-keeping, etc.
- Drive and promote service excellence through communication, engagement, and constructive feedback.
- Drive the food philosophy of Harvest Table Culinary Group and demonstrate the core values
Additional qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate to a wide range of individuals and ensure full comprehension of the topic, risk or liability level
- Will be a guest focused, innovative leader and have the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships
- Strong team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Degree in Culinary/Foodservice Bachelors preferred
- 2-6 years’ experience in food service operations
