Job Responsibilities
- Work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities in their homes, clinic and/or at community locations.
- Work closely with parents/caregivers.
- Manage maladaptive behaviors including but not limited to aggression (biting, hitting, etc.), tantrums, and property destruction
- Implement ABA techniques to manage challenging behaviors (aggression, tantrums, etc.)
- Maintain positive attitude and demeanor.
- Implement all plans developed by BCBA supervisor as written.
- Help clients with skill building
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
- Collect data on goals and target behaviors.
