Duties
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and ensure continuity in instruction
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment
- Provide support and guidance to students in their academic and personal development
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, cooperation, and active participation
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure smooth transitions between classes and activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively handle diverse student behaviors
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives
- Proficient in literacy education, math, and other subject areas as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level
- Flexibility to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments
