The Food Service Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparing, cooking, serving, and cleaning of food- and meal-related services and functions at the Community Center. Applicants must be able to cook meals.

Assists in the food preparation and serving of meals and snacks.

Assists in Cooking all Meals for Center Program Participants.

Cleans and maintains kitchen, equipment, and storage areas in clean, safe, serviceable condition.

Fills sugar, salt and peppershakers, condiment trays; ensures availability of dishes, utensils, serving trays, glassware, paper products, etc.

Complies with health and safety requirements for food service department employees, cleaning materials and chemicals, tools and equipment, etc.

Performs related work as required.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to maintain clean, neat, and hygienic work environment.
