Maintenance Supervisor - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus (\*) + Quarterly Bonus Opportunities!
We are a national multifamily property management company looking for an amazing candidate to join #thecompanythatkeepsgoodcompany. Specifically, we are seeking to hire a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to work at our beautiful community, The Yards at Malvern in Malvern, PA! This position will be full time and the work schedule will be variable, including on-call, evenings, and weekends.
The Community Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring a high level of customer service is provided to all requests, while also maintaining the cleanliness & marketability of the community to renew and secure new leases. The Maintenance Supervisor performs and supervises general carpentry, masonry, painting, and heating and air conditioning work, as well as appliance repair and installation. You will need to utilize strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to create the maintenance team schedules, manage the department’s budget, and ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a proper and timely fashion. Duties also include strategically thinking of ways to prevent costly and time-consuming emergency and service repairs without compromising quality. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with the Maintenance Team, Leasing Agents, & Community Manager to guarantee a simplistic, hassle-free rental experience for our residents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 5+ years of maintenance experience.
- 2 or more years of experience as a supervisor.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems, including inventory control, preventative maintenance, and work order record-keeping.
- General knowledge of trades, mechanical systems, and equipment including HVAC, landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing.
- Proficient knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment including HVAC, landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing.
(\*) After 30 days of successful employment, the candidate who is successfully hired will be eligible to receive a $750 sign-on bonus (less taxes and withholdings) and after 90 days of successful employment, the candidate, will be eligible for an additional $750 sign-on bonus (less taxes and withholdings).
A high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
- At least five (5) years of maintenance experience.
- EPA HVAC Certification is required.
