Position Summary:
The Admin/Scale Operator is the first point of contact for customers depositing material at a transfer station or material recovery facility. This position is also responsible for the daily administrative tasks based on company needs.
Your Role:

Perform and complete all administrative tasks including regular filing, permits, and completing required reports to be sent to managers and leadership.

Act as the first point of contact and provide general support to customers, employees, visitors and vendors.

Maintaining office policies and procedures and troubleshooting concerns when they arise.

Greet and director customers as well as other traffic.

Ensure that incoming loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.

Provide general upkeep of the Scale House.

Work all assigned shifts from scheduled start time to scheduled end time.

Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Project a knowledgeable enthusiastic, positive attitude that encourages customers confidence, and reflects a professional image.

Participate in all required Company meetings.

Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act, and other federal, state and local standards.

Requirements:

High School education or the equivalent

Data entry experience
