Overview
As an extension of our customers' office, the Operator role is one of the most important at AnswerUSA. Every interaction is an opportunity to carry out our mission of treating callers the way you want to be treated – they do not call it the Golden Rule for nothing!
Our Accountabilities
- Adhere to AnswerUSA’s call-handling expectations, limiting personal bias while answering calls professionally in your own tone.
- Create exceptional caller experiences that deliver meaningful connections with customers and callers.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced, technology-rich environment. Toggle between screens and applications simultaneously and precisely and consistently follow call-handling instructions on every call.

- You display a certain ease and grace under pressure. Your positivity and can-do attitude are amplified when you are handling multiple tasks at once. You are adaptable and coachable.
- You diligently follow instructions yet are comfortable going off-script when the situation calls for it. You take pride in representing our customers and providing a fantastic virtual first impression for a wide variety of businesses.
- Your ability to understand and anticipate your customer's needs. You are service-oriented.
Working conditions
Normally work takes place in an open office, call center environment with a diverse employee population. We are offering in office and remote positions. To qualify for a work from home position you must be able to:
1. WFH Employee must provide their own monitor (capable of accepting an HDMI connection), USB keyboard, and USB mouse.
2. WFH Employee must have a reliable internet connection in the home with the ability to directly connect Raspberry PI to the router. WiFi or Hotspot connections are not permitted.
3. WFH Employee must have a separated, enclosed space in which they can answer calls, i.e., a Home Office or spare bedroom. Taking calls from any shared space (Kitchen Table, Living Room) within the home is not permitted, especially when other members of the household are present.
4. WFH Employees must be willing to work in-office one day per month, for training and dissemination of important information.
5. WFH Employees must be available to work ‘split shifts,’e.g. four hours in the morning, and four hours in the afternoon.
6. WFH Employees must be on the OnCall List for additional phone support as requested by management.

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time positions for evenings, split shifts and weekends. Other shift times may be available after training and with experience and tenure.
