Position Details:
This position will require an individual with strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail to perform operational and fiscal activities of our Engineering department with accuracy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities for this position:
- Carry out departmental invoicing process to meet department goals, to include: process invoicing, review project budgets/data for accurate billing, follow processes, procedures and billing guidelines, track related departmental activity, and ensure database data integrity.
- Distribute invoices to clients according to departmental procedures and clients’ instructions.
- Process expense reports and per diem requests according to Company policies.
- Assist with the receipt and processing of vendor invoices.
- Provide support to Operations Specialist and department, as needed.
- Responsible for other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years related experience.
- Proficient in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Database Management, and possess the technological ability to learn other software systems as required.
- Bookkeeping experience helpful

Typical Physical Demands:
Requires individual to perform a broad range of activities using a full range of motion, including manual and finger dexterity and hand and eye coordination. Requires corrected vision, speech, and hearing to a normal range, or special accommodations made of a sufficient nature for completion of tasks. The employee is frequently required to sit and is required to use hands or fingers to type. The employee in this position is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Requires working under stressful conditions and occasionally working irregular hours.
Typical Working Conditions:
Office environment. While performing duties, the employee will work in a climate-controlled office environment. Exposures include but are not limited to continual use of video display terminals (VDTs), use of phone (make incoming-outgoing calls, take messages), operate scanner, repetitive activities such as keyboarding and mouse operations, other tasks associated with the ergonomics of computer workstations, and general operation of office machines.
