Job Title – Customer Service Representative
Reports To – VP of Sales
Overall Description
Levy Recognition is looking for a Customer Service Representative whose primary area of responsibility is to provide excellent service to their customers and support the sales team.
They should have outstanding problem-solving skills, clear communication with customers and within the Levy team. This role requires someone with the ability to balance priorities and who has a strong attention to detail. They will need to have a sense of urgency to respond to customers, be consistent in follow up and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in managing projects effectively, exemplify a proactive approach and take pride in their work.
Major Responsibilities & Tasks:
Supporting the Sales Process
· Accurately calculate pricing, enter orders, and document customer information into the CRM
· Balance multiple projects and reprioritize based on the needs of the business
· Communicate effectively with internal team, proactively addressing potential issues, and provide proper handoffs at each stage of the sales process
· Develop deep knowledge of Levy’s product and service offerings, as well as those in the awards industry
· Triage customer issues by reaching out to the appropriate resources for resolution
· Assist with implementation of the sales/marketing plan for NCAA Conferences & program business
· Assist in building presentations for product ideas via word doc or power point
Customer Relations
· Build trust and rapport with customers through proactive and consistent communication via phone and email
· Follow-up with customers and vendors in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
· Identify trends and opportunities with customers and communicate them to the appropriate internal team
· Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
Data Capture and Planning
· Document significant customer information in CRM, notes from conversations, follow up needed, etc.
· Inform management by submitting activity and results reports
· Maintain and update other internal planning and tracking tools as needed
Professional Requirements:
· 3 – 5 years of experience in customer service with proven track record of customer satisfaction
· Experience utilizing CRM to accurately capture data and activities
· Well-organized, self-directed team player
· Outstanding communication and customer relation skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Willingness to go “above and beyond” to exceed customer expectations
· Plans and manages time effectively and efficiently
· High level of proficiency with Microsoft software
