Renuven Health Partners (RHP) is a private medical group, started in 2016 and managed by physicians. Our primary focus is caring for patients in the post-acute and long term care (PA/LTC) settings. Our goal is to help patients return home safely and quickly while avoiding unnecessary complications.
RHP specializes in the care of older adults, often with complex medical conditions. We aim to improve the transitions of care from the hospital. Our physicians are trained in either Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
RHP quickly became known for its excellent quality metrics. Our loving providers and strong business practices continue to create growth. This allows our vision to be shared with others. As of 2020, RHP provides medical care in over 20 facilities and has over 30 providers.
Responsibilities
Renuven Health Partners (RHP) is seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Accountant to join our workforce. As the Accountant at RHP, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations within our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about healthcare finance and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. General responsibilities include:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for the organization.
- Process Accounts Payable and maintain the register within QuickBooks
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with the CEO, internal stakeholders and management, to provide financial guidance and support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, cash flow analysis and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain provider reports
- Coordinate and collaborate with accounting firm on corporate income tax return filings and review quarterly
- Payroll processing and review to reconcile payroll reports and ensure accuracy
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial operations.
- Act as point of contact for both internal and external customers to field inquiries and manage updates related to company benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans, etc.
- Collaborate with CEO and Director of Operations to draft compensation agreements and calculate employee bonuses.
Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 2+ year's experience in healthcare accounting preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks
- Skill in preparation and presentation of reports
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Ability to prioritize and develop workflow
