Summary
The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordination of field training for all field trainers, including tracking required field training and requests for field training. Scheduling a variety of field training methods with employee and remote investigators. Ensuring investigator trainers have the necessary forms, trainees and casework to complete their field training successfully, and updating trainee profiles to reflect field training progress. The Training Coordinator is also responsible for implementing short- and long-term departmental improvement projects at the direction of the department supervisor. They must also keep all department documents organized, maintaining up-to-date and accurate training policies and guidance for all personnel. This position requires regular communication with personnel through numerous methods. It also requires occasional attendance of planning and implementation meetings.
Essential Tasks (minimum requirements) to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

- Assist in audits of training and investigator training profiles to ensure ADC is meeting all requirements mandated in the statements of work for the contracts held by ADC
- Ensures accuracy of training information for investigators through the ADC Academy and Query
- Maintains and ensures training records are up-to-date
- Obtain a working knowledge of ADC training requirements, content and field training/mentoring processes
- Overall coordination and compliance regarding field training, mentoring, ride-alongs and National Training Standards training
- Prioritize work tasks according to the level of sensitivity
- Update ADC training content at the direction of Training Manager
- Identifies patterned issues or trends based off Investigator Training requests and reports findings to Training management
- Ensures Training Requests and NTS scheduling are being processed within appropriate time frames designated by Training management
Performance Metrics
- 30% of the Training Coordinator position is for maintaining schedulers/profiles such as Cotton Candy, Lemon Drop, Query, ADC Academy and DHS Mentoring.
- 30% of the Training Coordinator position is dedicated to sending/assigning required training documents for NTS Trainees, DHS Mentoring, Recaps, VTC certifications, CIT/EIT certifications, Ride Alongs, and Training Requests.
- 20% of the Training Coordinator position is administrative work such as filing logs, updating investigator folders, answering emails/phone calls from investigators and staff.
- 10% of the Training Coordinator position is dedicated to special projects to assist the overall success of the Training Program and Department. 10% of the Training Coordinator position is dedicated to auditing and reporting. Items such as Training Request monthly email update, Weekly Training Investigator Notice, Weekly DHS Mentoring Assignments Updates, Monthly Trainer Stats, and Quarterly IBI completion reports.

- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree desired

- Possess prior demonstrated experience in the field of training and/or learning management
- Possess very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Have a minimum of an Interim Secret clearance if undergoing Top Secret investigation
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employment is contingent upon the successful results of a background check and drug screen. In addition to the completion of a federal background investigation and while in the process of obtaining a Top Secret Clearance, must be able to obtain an interim clearance and/or appropriate agency approvals. Upon receipt of Top Secret clearance, must be able to maintain active Top Secret clearance and all agency approvals required of their position.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, schedule to be determined between the core hours of 6:30 a.m. MST and 6:00 p.m. MST. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.
Telework Eligibility
ADC offers full-time, hybrid and emergency telework arrangements for eligible employees when strategic priorities, specific work requirements and the employee and supervisor are suited for such an arrangement. Guidelines have been established to assist the employee in efficient production of their job duties and sets forth the expectations to be followed if a regular full-time, hybrid or emergency telework arrangement is approved.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently be required to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer and using the phone.
Probation
Six-month probation at start of initial employment and/or when position is new for the employee.
Travel
Some minimal travel may be required.
