Position Title: Real Estate Corporate and Investment Accountant

Position Description:
Responsible for managing various financial aspects of real estate investment entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient communication with investors, internal teams, and external professionals. The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including but not limited to investor relations, financial management, tax coordination, reporting, management of investment LLC structures, organization and implementation of investment documents and operating agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Management of Investor Equity and
· Preparation of sponsor and fund balance sheets and income statements.
· Maintenance of regular communication with investors regarding their positions and reporting.
· Implementation and monitoring of investor equity contributions and distributions.
· Coordination tax planning and compliance for all investment vehicles with outside consultants and professionals.
· Maintenance of internal investment tracking tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management.
· Performance of fund accounting activities, including reconciliation of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and tracking of expenses.
· Management of Investment Documents and Operating Agreements:
· Maintenance and organize investment documents and operating agreements, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
· Review of operating agreements to ensure adherence to financial and operational guidelines.
· Collaborate with internal asset management, property management, and ownership teams to gather relevant financial information and support decision-making processes.
· Various accounting and financial projects in support of al departments in the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in real estate accounting or related roles, with a preference for commercial real estate experience. Strong understanding of real estate investment structures, financial modeling, and accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi and Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
