Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess corrections experience.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare strategies
Skills:
- Experience in emergency medicine, ventilator management, and acute pain management
- Familiarity with memory care, inpatient care, PICU, long-term care, and tube feeding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt to various healthcare settings including travel nursing assignments
Must have valid RN license in the state of New Mexico or compact RN license
Must have 1+ years of corrections experience
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days 0600-1830 on Thurs, Fri, Sat
Pay: $65/hr
$2,340 weekly gross based on 36 hours
