Summary Description: This position directly partners with the New Unit opening team as a resource-multiplying leader that provides performance monitoring and analysis, communication development, and process execution for the Restaurant Opening Center. Responsible for the oversight of key organizational duties related to New Unit Openings and maintains a consolidated view of Restaurant Operation’s priorities, communications, presentations, pending deliverables, and records.
Responsibilities:
- Manages new unit timelines and activities to ensure Operational delivery on timeline, budgets, commitment and KPIs.
- Anticipates delays and adjusts business expectations, schedules, and resources to stay on course.
- Collaborates with the stakeholders across departments and promotes unit opening success through development of subject matter expert relationships.
- Acts as Operations liaison to deliver solutions through cross functional commitment.
- Ensure proper procedures are being followed and integrity of program is being maintained through self-conducted audits.
- Creates communications, reports, and other documentation as required to make business decisions.
- Provides insights on new unit performance that keeps leaders ahead of opportunities. Analyzes non-financial and financial metrics to identify trends and highlight opportunities to drive business performance.
- Reviews all reports, documents, and calculations to ensure the accuracy and/or consistency of information flowing through the department.
- Identifies areas of improvement for both individual units and overall process improvement through measuring and analyzing performance.
- Maintains the Restaurant Opening Center Teams site and documentation to ensure organization and up to date documents related to new unit systems and processes.
- Responds to requests from both internal and external sources professionally, working closely with Operations and Real Estate on identifying effective solutions.
- Develops staff communication and maintains compliance monitoring of policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Experience:
- Experience in contributing to the management of operations and or projects preferred
- 1+ years’ experience preferably in restaurant industry
Knowledge, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Visio (as applicable)
- Proficiency in JD Edwards (as applicable)
- Ability to communicate well with the leadership and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:
- Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
- Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessary
- Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
