The Technical Coordinator- Video will be responsible for analyzing rental contracts and preparing the list of equipment including substitutions and sub-leases required for events.
Your day will look like this:
-
Estimate costs of rental according to the type of project in collaboration with the representative or technical director.

From the list of the equipment required for different projects, check availability in the warehouse and make reservations.

Discuss options available with the representative or the Technical Director responsible for the customer. When the facilities are not available, produce an estimate of the price of sublease.

Carry out sub-rental requests and/or necessary purchases for the department’s events.
-
Replace equipment failure at the time of the event and coordinate the delivery of replacements.
-
Act as contact person for the teams working in the field related to the technical part of the equipment.

In collaboration with the team, replace the equipment in case of breakage during the event and coordinate delivery.
-
Ensure the return of equipment in sublease promptly.

Carry out any other related tasks, which are necessary during the scope of this role.
Your profile:
-
College degree in Audiovisual, Stage Management or any other relevant training.
- Minimum three years of experience as a technical video technician with touring experience
- Knowledge of inventory management

Knowledge of Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, etc.)

Knowledge of AutoCAD software.

Knowledge of the system R2 (an asset)

Ability to perform administrative tasks

Ability to interpret equipment requirements and drawings to facilitate creation of orders

Ability to travel occasionally during events

Ability to solve complicated problems

Thoroughness and attention to detail

Well-developed organizational skills

Demonstrate ability to work well with clients (internal and external)

Adapt to change easily

Ability to work independently and within a team

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, heat, cold, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries. Environment may be fast paced at times.
