We are a small Airbnb management company with about 7 listings mainly in the Brickell/Wynwood area and we are looking for a motivated, detailed, and ethical general manager.
Job Description
Our team is changing, our business is growing and we need a general manager!
Your main focus would be on these 3 responsibilities:
1. Cleanings management - maintaining excellent cleaning standards (both yourself and our maid), making sure supplies are always in stock,
2. Team management - supervising and giving feedback, scheduling cleanings
3. Guest relations management - always putting the customer first and trying to help with any issues, scheduling guest check-ins, etc.
And a minor focus on these other responsibilities:
-Maintenance - scheduling repairs quickly
-Performance review - increasing the reviews
-Finances - reviewing financial measures and reports
This would be a great job for you if you are detail oriented, organized, a "clean freak", and good with customers, service, and hospitality. We prefer someone who can follow instructions, learn quickly, and work independently with minimal supervision. Ideally, someone who has cleaning experience in a similar role and an eye for detail.
Main Responsibilities:
- Guest relations
- Team management
- Scheduling cleanings
- Cleaning listings
- Guest check-ins (meeting with guests when they arrive)
- Cleaning inspections of other maid's
- Refilling supplies
- Fulfilling guest requests
- Coordinating maintenance
- Support setting up new listings
- Performance reviews
- Basic financial tasks (we will train you)
- **We can also use help moving furniture & other hands-on tasks (once in a while, not daily!)
Requirements:
- Laptop
- Cell phone
- English speaker
- (preferred) Spanish speaking
- (preferred) Lives in/near Brickell/Downtown
- (preferred) Car
Example Day:
9:30-10:30 AM: respond to guest messages
10:30 AM-11 AM: pick up supplies (i.e. toilet paper, etc.)
11 AM-2:30 PM: clean listing or help maid
2:30-3 PM: check guests in
3-5:30 PM: schedule maintenance & cleanings for next week
General Schedule (could change depending on the week but most weeks will be this):
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 9:30 AM-5:30 PM
- Tuesdays & Thursdays (half days): 11 am-3 pm
- Wednesdays OFF
----Total: about 40 hrs./week
**Note the first few weeks of training will be slightly different. After about a month of training we will put you on the regular schedule listed above. For example, this is the tentative 1st week of training schedule:
- 5/8 (W)
- 5/9 (R)
- 5/10 (F)
- 5/12 (Su)
- 5/15 (W)
Pay:
$1,000 weekly + bonus pay based on performance
