CDMS is seeking an innovative Senior Consultant with a demonstrated ability to solve complex EHS problems, identify and deliver environmental consulting services that make a positive impact on our industrial clients and their workforce.
This significant role will be located in the Los Angeles area and will responsible for developing new client opportunities and engagements for our company, training and mentoring a group of EHS specialists and supporting our range of EHS services such as Hazardous Waste/Materials management, Storm Water, Air Quality and Wastewater compliance by monitoring changes in regulations/enforcement and translating them into service offerings for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have proven consultative business development experience in EHS consulting, keen business sense, and drive to build lasting, win-win partnerships with clients, team members and key business allies.

What you will do:
- Engage in thought leadership activities – Analyze regulation and enforcement changes and help communicate about them internally and to our clients, participate in committees, industry associations to identify and capture opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Decide on and build best practices and SOPs for the CDMS EHS specialist team.
- Mentor and train a group of EHS specialists.
- Meet new clients and develop long-lasting relationships.
- Support sales functions such as providing input on sales and marketing strategy, collaborating on sales efforts, and impacting client growth.
- Provide exceptional technical expertise to clients, with an emphasis on onboarding and launching engagements with new clients

Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Geology or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering or Professional Geologist certification a plus.
- Consulting background in Hazardous Waste/Materials management, Stormwater and Wastewater compliance, Air Quality and Training ideal.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Skilled at researching, gathering, organizing and analyzing data from various sources.
- Able to effectively plan and execute projects.
- Comfortable networking with clients in their local area and occasionally traveling within Southern California.

- Pay: $110,000 – $170,000 a year + bonus
