Job Overview:
The Technical Support Specialist - Tier I will provide technical support and resolutions to employees, agents, dispatchers, and drivers across an ever-growing network of platforms. Strong analytical, organizing, and problem-solving skills are needed for this position. In addition, the ability to support proprietary software, mobile apps, and other software as well as network and PC troubleshooting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users on various IT issues and incidents
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems
- Set up and manage user accounts in Active Directory
- Assist with VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Utilize Helpscout/Jira ticketing system for issue tracking and resolution
- Communicate effectively with users to understand and resolve technical issues
- Provide application support
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mac and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Active Directory user administration
- Strong technical support skills
- Base knowledge of VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
