Job Summary:
The F&B Manager at Ocean Place Resort & Spa will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations at our luxury beachfront property in Long Branch, New Jersey. This individual contributor role will require the individual to have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management. The F&B Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service and creating a unique dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations at the resort, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.
2. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.
3. Train and supervise all F&B staff, ensuring they provide exceptional service and adhere to company policies and standards.
4. Monitor and analyze sales and costs, make adjustments as needed to ensure profitability.
5. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create menus and seasonal offerings that reflect the resort's brand and cater to our guests' needs.
6. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in all F&B areas, following health and safety regulations.
7. Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, ensuring they are within budget and meet quality standards.
8. Build relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best prices for products and services.
9. Handle any guest complaints or concerns regarding F&B services and take necessary action to resolve issues.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and prepare reports to keep management informed about the performance of the F&B operations.
11. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote F&B offerings and create attractive packages to attract guests.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in F&B management within a luxury hotel or resort.
3. Proven track record of increasing revenue and guest satisfaction.
4. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
5. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control.
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
8. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
9. ServSafe and TIPS certification preferred.
10. Knowledge of Point of Sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
