Komline-FluidQuip is growing and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background in quality control and be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety. The Quality Inspector will play a key role in inspecting products, identifying defects, and maintaining accurate records to support continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Follow inspection procedures and use appropriate tools, such as calipers, gauges, and CMM to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
- Analyze technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics to determine inspection requirements and criteria.
- Document inspection results, including defects, corrective actions, and quality metrics, accurately and promptly.
- Communicate quality issues to relevant departments and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve quality-related issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (calipers, gauges, and CMM).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection equipment and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic-intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
