Overview
As a Product Manager you will support experienced product managers in increasing the profitability of our existing products as well in the development of new products, and as such you will learn the procedure step-by-step. In order to develop innovative solutions and products independently in the future, it is also your responsibility to spend time in the market to learn to understand the problems of market participants, to document them, assess them and communicate their results.
Responsibility:
l Acquire knowledge of company products and familiarize oneself with product labels, pricing, and systems operation through a 2-4 week training period;
l Document, report, and provide feedback to management on client interactions, as well as maintain data related to activities, accounts, and partners;
l Developing and maintaining a basic knowledge of product lines and services;
l Attends/completes required training and department meetings;
l Performing market research and competitive analysis;
l Participating in user testing and gathering customer feedback;
l Take part in the product testing process and provide testing reports;
l Product life cycle management;
l Helping develop product strategies and road maps;
l Collaborating with design, engineering, and marketing teams.
Requirements:
l Bachelor degree or above, major in marketing, management and other related majors are preferred;
l At least 3-5 years working experience for product manager role;
l Leads product development, strategy, and redesign from concept through development and manufacturing to market launch;
l Develops products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, developing marketing strategies, and determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction;
l Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, and answering questions and requests;
l Familiar with product design and development process, with keen market insight and data analysis capabilities;
l Possess excellent communication and coordination skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to effectively promote project progress;
l Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, and costing special and customized orders.
l Familiarity with product analytic tools and project management methodologies is crucial. Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development life cycle can be beneficial;
l Understanding of business operations, strategy, and the ability to align product development with organizational goals.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
l Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities are essential;
l A keen eye for detail is necessary for quality assurance and to ensure the accuracy of product specifications and performance metrics;
l The ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and translate this understanding into product development is key;
l Proficiency in conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape;
l Understanding of business operations, strategy, and the ability to align product development with organizational goals;
l Plan the project individually and comprehensively. This involves defining the project’s scope, objectives, and deliverable in consultation with stakeholders.
