About Us: Brooklyn Jewelers is a leading fine jewelry manufacturer with over 30 years of experience. As pioneers in 3D technology for jewelry design, we have primarily focused on B2B, supplying top retailers. Now, we are looking to grow our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. We are seeking a tech-savvy, proactive, and organized Executive Assistant to be the right hand to our CEO as our Operations Specialist.
Job Type: Part-Time Contract (10-20 hours per week to start)
Key Responsibilities:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and document SOPs for all business procedures, ensuring efficient and consistent operations.
- Task Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize a variety of tasks to ensure timely completion.
- E-commerce Support: Assist with e-commerce operations on Shopify, including product listings, order management, and tracking sales processes.
- Data Analysis: Utilize Excel extensively for data analysis and report creation to support business decisions.
- Workflow Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to enhancing workflow processes.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with broader company objectives.
- Marketing Strategy: Lead marketing efforts, utilizing Klaviyo and all social media platforms to drive sales. This role involves strategizing and identifying opportunities for increased sales.
Skills & Requirements:
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and other relevant tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to work proactively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
- Ownership: Take full ownership of tasks, demonstrating resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities to find answers and solutions.
- Startup Experience: Preferably, experience working in a startup tech environment with a focus on building processes and scaling operations.
- E-commerce Experience: Proven experience in managing Shopify e-commerce operations, particularly with websites that sell products.
- Tech Savvy: Stay current with the latest software and applications that can enhance business operations.
- AI Familiarity: Experience with or willingness to learn ChatGPT, including how to effectively prompt and utilize AI tools.
