Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, this pivotal role will spearhead the strategic planning and implementation of brand-building initiatives and community-centric campaigns to propel the organization's overall growth and impact.
As the National Senior Director of Marketing, you will orchestrate the integration of diverse marketing components into a cohesive strategy, ensuring seamless alignment and coordination to achieve strategic objectives such as elevating brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving lead generation. The ideal candidate will possess a keen ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission, amplify brand reputation, and drive revenue growth through cross-functional collaboration and innovative marketing initiatives.

The Senior Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's marketing direction, ensuring alignment with its mission and strategic objectives while driving sustainable growth and fostering meaningful community impact. This role is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the continental US.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive integrated marketing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and mission.
- Collaborates across departments to meet marketing demands as well as to provide strategic communications and marketing counsel to leaders.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the marketing team, setting clear goals and priorities.
- Leads the marketing department by managing integrated initiatives across site-level marketing, promotional, advertising, social media, and earned media communications channels.
- Conduct research to understand our target audience segments and develop tailored marketing approaches to effectively reach and engage them.
- Identify short- and long-term resource needs, including the development and management of the annual marketing budget.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, media outlets, and community organizations.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), paid advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices and seeks ongoing professional development to stay current.
- Manage company website and tools to increase brand awareness and recognition.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant business-related degree.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in marketing and external communications.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree or relevant professional industry certification preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in leading brand marketing strategies and integrated marketing plans independently or with the support of an outside agency.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders – creative, media, retail goods, mission services, and agency partners.
- Management and talent development experience.
- Experience in working with multiple vendors/partners (internally and externally) with critical timelines and multiple project requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of all marketing media including digital, paid, and social media campaigns and analytics.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to build consensus and influence leadership.
- Advanced understanding of customized, culturally sensitive marketing campaigns and review process.
- Ability to conduct market research and present reports.
- Strong judgment – the ability to identify critical information and use it to choose effective courses of action.
- Self –starter and a team player with the ability to develop and maintain a goal-oriented, positive attitude throughout the organization.
- Can effectively connect stakeholders to Compudopt’s organizational mission and values.

Salary is one component of Compudopt’s total compensation package, which also includes:
