Bud Tender (Retail)
Reports To
The Bud Tender will report to and be supervised by the Storefront Manager and General Manager.
Job Overview
A Bud Tender is responsible for greeting, assisting and educating patients through the purchasing experience in the retail setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage customer satisfaction by guiding customers through the selection process
- Customer Service
- Answer questions, offer suggestions, handle and showcase products
- Maintain a clean and tidy store environment
- Be an expert on products offered
- Use of Point of Sale System
- Tasks as required by Management
- Maintain patient privacy as required in MMMP Program Rules and HIPPA
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to pass State of Maine MMMP background check
- Must pass drug test
- Consent to a criminal background check
- Existing Cannabis experience a plus, not required.
- Detail and goal oriented. Superior customer service skills.
- Proficient with cash handling
Training
- On the job training will be provided to supplement existing experience
Evaluations
- Performance evaluations will be done on an annual basis, except new hires. New hires will be evaluated after 30 days, after 90 days, and then annually.
Physical requirements
- Ability to bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 16 per week
