Position Overview
Provides clinical services, support, advocacy and referrals to Youth & Families with youth ages
4-18. Such support also includes directing this population as needed to relevant local and state resources. Also supports Clinton Public Schools in addressing and responding to mental health issues as well as facilitates positive youth development programming.
Essential Job Functions
- Clinical duties including completing intakes, making appropriate referrals, assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and families, treatment planning, crisis intervention, group therapy, case management and record keeping
- Collaborative workshops with staff and school system on critical teen issues
- Collaboration with larger systems such as Clinton Public Schools, DCF and other treatment providers
- Participates in clinical supervision
- Participates in continuing education seminars, webinars or research modules
- Write mini grants for the purpose of obtaining funding for positive youth development programs. This includes planning, narrative, budget proposals and management as well as post-award evaluation and reporting
- Maintains office paperwork such as time sheets, scheduling, clinical reports, advisory board reports, and other local, state and regional reports as required, as well as periodic submissions to the CYFSB website
- Responsible for the development, facilitation and evaluation of two programs in collaboration with the Program Coordinator o The Morgan Peer Advocates Program o Summer Partners Youth to Youth Mentorship Program

- Master's Degree, LCSW & LMFT
- State Licensure required
