Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
- Assist prospective tenants with the application process and ensure all required documents are collected
- Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and rental payments
- Advertise available units through various marketing channels
Skills:
- Strong data entry skills to accurately input tenant information into the system
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms with tenants
- Knowledge of property maintenance to address tenant concerns and coordinate repairs
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs and requirements
- Ability to efficiently file and organize leasing documents
- Proficiency in using property management software such as OneSite
- Exceptional phone etiquette to communicate effectively with prospective and current tenants
- Strong customer relationship management skills to build rapport with tenants and address their needs
- Sales skills to effectively promote available units and upsell additional services
