Job Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department. They will operate the department at maximum production, controlling costs, maintaining and building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relations, setting, and obtaining sales and profit objectives and maintaining service records.
Qualified applicants MUST have previous Agricultural Service experience as a technician or technical role, will have a track record of high performance, history of strong customer satisfaction, and demonstrate ability to be trained on OEM process and procedure. Only candidates with integrity, a positive attitude, passion to succeed, and a willingness to learn and grow will be considered.
Management Roles:
- Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
- Ensure that all necessary elements for a successful team system are promoted by all service personnel.
Customer and Department related:
- Maintain high quality working relationships with customers and any potential new clients.
- Serve as a liaison with factory representatives.
- Handle all customer complaints.
- Quality-check completed jobs.
- Keep abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommend purchases.
- Ensure that work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.
- Account for all documents; ensure that none are missing.
- Review daily technician time cards for accuracy.
- Ensure all workorders are completed in a timely manner.
- Review all work orders for accuracy and that price being charged to the customer is fair for work performed.
- Ensures timely completion of all manufacturer equipment recalls.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
