Assistant Clinical Director, RN (Full time)
An assistant director of nursing (ADON) is responsible for the nursing team and quality of patient services in the absence of the director of nursing.
The ADON is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring activities are in compliance with federal, state and local standards.
The Assistant Director of Nursing RN must have knowledge of current in-home hospice approaches to delivering nursing care and strategies for examining and applying relevant concepts and current leadership, management, and performance improvement concepts and the ability to participate in developing and implementing strategies to address opportunities for improving nursing care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Makes on-site visits to Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in the capacity of a person in leadership, in order to help solidify agency's relationship with them.
- Attends case conference meetings with hospice personnel to facilitate coordination of care and discussion of interdisciplinary group involvement.
- Assists in the orientation of new employees and participates in the development of the orientation program as needed.
- Participates actively in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Louisiana Registered Nursing Licensure (RN)
- Current CPR and ACLS certification required
- Hospice Experience
